I recently ordered a set of T1675's from sonic. I asked about price matching with amazon. Since amazon was the actual seller they matched. Saved me $10. Then a week later i notice that their listed price was the same as amazons listed price. I called them about a month later I call to order another set of T1675's and a set of p3 8" shallows. I talked to a rep and mention to him that i have placed quite a few orders with them in the past and this order was going to be nearly $400. I asked if he could work out some savings for me, but if not i wasn't worried about it since i was happy with them regardless. In short i ended up paying $350 for everything shipped! So if the power supply is better, why the voltage drop? I don't get it. Supposedly the truck has two big alts and 6 d3100's and it was running. You would think even at idle it could handle one 1500 watt amp. Guess it's because the truck seems to only be charging at 13.4?

I mean, i know bigger alts tend to have lower idle amperage, but still even if they only do 120 amps at idle with that setup one would think the drop would be minimal

I understand where you are coming from Steve. At work people sometimes try to tell me that "you should do this, or you should do that" I just reply, i got it all under control. I know what i want and when i get to it i will do it.
