It depends if your alternator is PCM controlled. If it is, then you are fucked if you stick with the standard wiring. If it is not PCM controlled, then you can get a Voltage Boost module from Mechman.

What I do to set my X over's is plug a DMM into my terminals and play a 80hz test tone, and keep rolling up the knob until I start to see the signal voltage dip a bit below where it would be normally.

Kyle I don't have time tonight to record, or even play, for that matter. :'( But I can tell you from my current experience thus far that the game is a freaking blast. Way better than Crysis 2 MP. I agree that Crysis 2 MP blew.

Yeah I'm dropping to 20fps on the same settings you have. But a set of RAM recently failed (Fuck G. Skill) so I'm down to dual channel 4gb of RAM. And I'm looking at my CPU graph and it's absolutely whomping on all of my cores, it seems like the game has more threads than the i5's can handle. May be time to switch to i7 finally. This is with Catalyst 13.1 Drivers.

Plus, we're doing this all before the game releases. Tweaking so we're ready. Think of it as a hobby. I'm constantly tweaking for best performance, I find it fun.

Really??? I have a 3770k and a 2gb 6950 but I can run it on high with AA 4x and still pulls 30fps?? what are you running for the cooling? I have a XSPC 120x3 Radiator, Phobya 240ml (IIRC) Reservoir, 1/2 tubing, phobya pump, and some GT fans. Distilled water. And 30fps is unplayable for me. It's gotta be 45fps+ for me. I'll put those settings on and see what I drop to. Brb.

I have a 2500k at 5.2ghz and an amd radeon 2gb 6950 and i can only play on medium at the most, and low for a solid 60fps. Lol. It still looks gorgeous on low, though. Very impressed. Antialiasing seriously whomps. I feel like it isn't as optimised as it should be.

I would invert if you are overpowering the subs by a considerable amount. If you are running rated or a little above rated you could have them mounted normal. And the 1.65 is without any displacements. So whatever the displacement of the sub is, which is probably .2-.3, then you would add that to 1.65 to get how big of volume the box has to be. So around 1.85-1.95 total. -

I hear the bigger the ratio, the louder it is, it still retains just as flat a response as a smaller ratio. -
