I liked the amp and it pushed my 2 12" cvrs pretty well although it would like to keep itself on when i turned my car off sometimes. plus i roasted the shit out of it in 7 months
MrFree
LOL my first amp was a huge see threw amp from the flea market.I was 17 and the guy that always had a loud car no matter what he drove. He had 2 10's in a T-Line box in the back of his daytona plus a 15" .then a blow threw ranger.Sorry I digress.Anyway he suckered me into giving him my amp for a HU and a smaller 300watt amp.I would have to say my first real amp is whats running my set up now.I have a Coustic600se and a Jenson250 Quote R.I.P...99'Dodge Grand Caravan 03 Lancer Oz Big 3 HU-JVC KD-530 RCA's-rockerfosgate 41/2 inch Infinity mids Subs-(12's)2 Orion xtr124 Amp-Coustic600se battery-2 x stock, 1x Shuriken SK-BT20 Box-L-ported 3.562cubes@35Hz miscellaneous-stinger volt-meter, gain nob, (coming soon bass pro,eq,line drive) I dont have flex yet but damn I sound good,(coming soon....flex) Check out my HHR install Everything I install or build here:http://s1160.photobu...s/q485/MrBfree/ Also video's of my Car with the new box.http://www.youtube.c...lentGyge/videos

Keith77
Orion Cobalt 230 sitill have it too Edited March 1, 2012 by Keith77 Quote Thats cool. Im way too old to be upset by shit like that. Your name is winston. Your own parents hated you even before you were born. My penis is bigger than your penis I'm far from loud and my roof/headliner flaps around like Adam's ass on a windy day. I think it depends more on the structure of the vehicle. Sergeant_Skyrim
MTX RTP251D. I believe it's discontinued or whatever it's called, but my dad got it back in 2006 as part of a deal MTX had going on. 2 12s in a sealed carpeted box with this amp for a few $100. It still works to this day and I've even got a few pictures of it! http://a7.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-ash4/426303_3162941865181_1014379508_33072222_1512975455_n.jpg http://a1.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-ash4/426303_3162941905182_1014379508_33072223_1262498534_n.jpg http://sphotos.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ash4/426303_3162941945183_1014379508_33072224_1074956154_n.jpg Here's what the entire MTX enclosure looked like when we first got it too: http://www.onlinecarstereo.com/CarAudio/assets/ProductImages/MTX_RTP212.jpg The amp has been passed down to me and I plan on keeping it until I upgrade to something bigger! Hifonics
My first amp was a Bazooka 250. This amp had an option to be water cooled. I had it installed by a professional car audio shop..... they had the gain at MAX because they thought it was a volume knob. Bass boost was on. Bridged to 1 ohm (even though it was 2 ohm stable). You could cook eggs on that thing it got so hot. It never died.. I miss quality of the older gear.
