LsChevy
This is what happens when you get wood cut at home depot. I got all my cuts at home depot and some are 1/16 to short. they wasnt using the regular saw. i was wondering can i use some sealer tape for the cracks? D-train-13k
you can use double sided foam tape. i have before and it works well for testing and stuff. just seal it off with some window caulk for a better seal. Autruche
Build the box with wood glue and screws like you normally would. Then buy a jug of fiberglass resin and paint a thick coat of resin in all of the corners on the inside of the box. That should ensure it's sealed up nice and tight. Quote Need Test Tones/Sine Waves? Reaper uk
id take that wood back, and ask for a fresh sheet and do it yourself! those cuts are terrible, AND not the the sizes you specified, therefore, non satisfactory.
Skullz
Get some sawdust and mix it with wood glue and put it on the end that are bad so it can seal it up, make sure you have enough so it squeezes out the sides and then caulk the inside after it all dries up. 97SSBlazer
Im sure it could be fixed but if you plan on keeping the box I would start over, If this is a lower power handling box than you might be able to deal it with caulk. Id mix wood glue and saw dust and cake it in their from the outside too... Quote lower tuning is just hard. BassJunkie
I suck at cutting wood so I had a similar issue, fiberglass worked wonders. LsChevy
I never used resin but isn't it like a real thick glue?
