PUNKYOU007 Posted May 24, 2011 Report Share Posted May 24, 2011 Can anyone enlighten me as to why AQ will not sell me a D2 aluminum re cone since my original subs were not D2 aluminum's. They said they dont offer D2 aluminum re cones unless your original subs had that config. Well my original subs had D1 copper coils but I want aluminum coils and I want to wire my amps to .5 ohm. This is the email they sent me: "OK unless your sub was originally built as a D2 ALUMINUM, we are not offering the recones for those that just want to change, we only order these for the existing customers, I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, thank you Michael S " Doethepaperboy "Bars of Pain" Doethepaperboy "Hero Remix" C. Seems like bad customer service on their part, there is no reason I can think of that would stop them from selling one... Bassless once again.
