1sickpuppy
I was planning on taking my vehicle to a reputable car audio shop to get my big three done. I wanted to know what I should expect to pay the shop to install 1/0 Awg. I know I should just call around but I don't have time for that. Being that I'm at work as I write this. LOL! But if someone could give me a ballpark figure that would help me considerably. THEKINGsBACK
Around 150 Quote he wouldnt be the first to say they did a 167 with a system like that (one that clearly DOESNT), but i have to say, he didnt beat me anywhere, ive never competed against the guy. If he thinks his does a 167, mine would probably put him in a coma. :hairtrick:
dwright27
Probably get charged $5 - $7 per foot for wire, probably take anywhere from 10 - 20 feet for the big 3 depending on vehicle. Then probably $50 for labor + tax. Where you located? Quote 2006 F-150 4 DC XL M2 18's Walled Daily Driver XS Power 4 DC 3.5kw Team DC Team S.P.L. TeamHT
You don't have time to call, but you have time to post a thread and check it constantly? A shop is going to charge what they want, and if you're unwilling to do it yourself, it is what it is. I think you're just trying to make sure you're not getting ripped off, so I understand. Dwright quoted pretty well, its about exactly I would charge. I guess my small rant was someone who decided to come in and tell me what I charge is too much for a job he obviously can't do. Still...you could just call and get a quote in seconds and then decide whether or not its reasonable or not Quote Tell me...does this smell like chloroform to you?
