mbdblue Posted June 16, 2011 Report Posted June 16, 2011 ohm load is probably your problem...those are 8 ohm speakers and you probably have each wired to the channels of the amp. so each speaker is seeing a lot less than you think... I have a friend who has less speakers and a smaller amp and he has the same speakers but his seem louder for some reason. He told me that my amp is to big for my speakers he said I should get a smaller amp. Im trying to figure out if this true and if its not true what can i do to make them louder without buying some more speakers. Also if this helps there 8ohm 300watts. thanks I asume you have four channel amp.is each speaker on its on channel..if so bridge your amp with pair of speakers to get 4. ohms.

He has a 1,500 watt amp. 1) The link you have given out is not valid 2) We do not know what model amp you have but we can assure you, that you are not putting 3k to your mid/highs 3) We would need to know how you currently have your speakers wired to see what ohn load you are at, and also the model of amp to see what amount of power you are getting at this ohm load 4) Any links to these speakers you have?
