hdorre
Wow, Ill be watching this! I like the plans. How long do you expect this to take? It'd be cool to have a walled DD in highschool, that should hit the 150s What happens when a sub has a little too little airspace? Extreme inefficiency and a peaky response I dont know how these subs would sound in 5 cubes each, but fully loaded BTLs claim to like 4.5 cubes minimum. Louisiana Bass
Thanks for the response Hdorre, anyone know the minimum space these subs like? And thanks guys, motivating comments are very helpful. No more actual updates till Wednesday, had to come to moms for a few days, don't remember the last time I was here Good tip Dustin, I'll probably either do that, or just take a cardboard layout, spray it black, and put it in all the windows. Will be like painted windows, but removable. When I get the actual wall itself built, I'll post up dimensions so you could help me out. If I dot have enough space for 2 18"s, I'll sell em and get 4 badass 12s, I'd have space for that. N8. No homo...unless you want there to be. Supercharged DCs
Hunter, I'm expecting the wall to take 2 weeks at the most. We won't be working on it for days at a time due to no tools at one house. The full build, with everything mentioned in the Op, should be done by Christmas/ January. It would be insane to have a DD walled off, especially in high school. No one around has a true wall, especially no one our age. We were just talking about possibly switching to some subwoofers that can function well in smaller spaces, like the SMD 18 and Nightshade 18. CJ, yep definitely jumping in head first. If this doesn't work out like we want, were trying our hand at a blowthrough. It's a nice summer project, that's for sure. Wont be able to work on it for a couple days, no tools or materials over here I'd love to do a walkthrough, but my dad would never allow that. Truck has to be able to be reverted to original condition if needed. And I'll definitely be asking questions Dustin. And yep, I'ma talk to my dad about that this weekend. Don't have any money left, so maybe he'll help me out with tint. Bassless once again. Can't seem to keep a system for more than a few weeks Saving for a '06 Nissan 350z, look for build around June 2012.

Supercharged DCs
Lol go big or go home. It's definitely not in the same league as the rest of y'all on here, but I think it'll be plenty good enough for demoing to a few friends and going to a comp every once in a blue moon.
