I can barely make an h.o. alt fit under the hood, let alone an entire turbo setup lol. I toyed with the idea back in my "go fast" days, but the amount of front end fabrication involved for that shit is just not worth it. They don't make bolt on kits that are pocket friendly, so I was thinking of doing it myself, but that's 80+ bends that I'd have to do..... Just to make the turbo manifold lol.

Would cost me $3000 to go from 144 to 280hp, so no that part, my car as well will remain forever slow lol

I'm not sacrificing power steering or ac just to put in an extra alt either lol. Putting a turbo on this car, with this engine, is a waste of time. This is the worst engine gonna ever put in production as far as adding power to it. To add the turbo, the entire upper end of the engine would have to be rebuilt, New valves, mill the head down, most likely drop the pistons out too and swap those while boring out the cylinders. Plus the custom manifold and routing the pipes, intercooler, swapping radiators for the clearance issues, all for a 200hp gain when vtec kicks in.

I'm going for performance and cosmetics when my system is done. There is a place in West Palm or Lake Worth called AJP Performance that did a 500hp Civic, going to take it to them tell them what I want, what I cant lose, get a price and if it doesn't rape me I will get it done. I don't know shit about engines but I know with all the weight going into this car I will need to do something to up the hp because that 117 aint go cut it lol. I don't need nothing insanely fast just need to be quick and keep up. Here is a vid of the Civic I am referring to:

The easiest way to make ours better is to swap a newer civic motor in them, the ka24, or go with the tried and true b16 or b18 and do a poor man's type r upgrade to it.

That's the plan considering they told me they can't do much with my engine I would need one of the newer motors to really get some power and maintain daily functionality it gets hot as the devils balls in Miami so it's no way in hell I am giving up power anything or ac. I am just going to go to this place and have them do all the mods so I have someone to choke if the car gives me problems. I will need to do the suspension and rims soon anyway but I want to see where I sit with everything in the car before I decide what route to take first.

K24 with a S/C would be sick, but that would take room away from a secondary alt. Won't a built K20/K24 crest 250hp easy? I'm not much of a Honda guy, more of a SBC/F. But K series motors are pretty badass in sand rails and track cars.

I'm only running one alt any more voltage will be handled by batt additions. I don't compete with my Vic so I just need to demo a lot and not trying to invest in a way to do dual alts in a little ass Civic.
