so are you trying to make 150 with the first setup or the add-on?

MarioB has the only 150 trunk car that I've ever heard of
Thorshammer has one. And fox_racin4 had one but he's doing a truck build now

i got to a 150.1 with my trunk.. one atomic 7k on 2 12s.. took me LOTSSS of testing and a few differnt set ups. when i did the 150, i had a ripped tripple joint on one of the subs from beating on them so hard.. and soo many burps, so im sure with a fully working sub.. better electrical icould have put up a little better number but.. i got to my goal of a 150. it is alot of work, but in the end its nice to say you hit a 150 in a trunk!

Eh, he has a dream man. With his budget and experience, that's how it'll stay, just a dream. I can see someone with hella experience doing a 150 with two 200$ subs on a 3k rms amp, but you lack the experience. Up your budget if you want the score, and if you can't up your budget, lower your hopes. Not trying to be a downer or a douche, just being real. Good luck though. Maybe if you get Ray or Bill or someone with knowledge, then you can get the score.

im a realist. with that being said my initial post still stands. you just got done hearing what it took to get to a 50. two low level woofers and 3k arent going to do it.

i dont know how much they go for but i say you go get yourself a Fi BTL, DC level 5, a DD 9500, AA Mayhem, or other similar powerful subs (though way out of your budget) and then get a cheap amp to use until you have enough to afford around 5k worth of amp. then repeat the process for sub 2. From there you should be at a pretty good number close to your goal.
