I it seems the menu is harder to get to and hard to understand its not at all like the older models. Any new suggestions. What do you use and why you use it. 99vic Posted July 11, 2011 Report Share Posted July 11, 2011 it sounds like he is looking for suggestions. i was a die hard pioneer fan for many years. but recently noticed alpine is starting to catch my eye as far as functions. before i hated the menu set up. but the newer ones seem to be very user friendly. however if you have used pioneer the set up has pretty much been the same for years. not much has changed. i agree with the tacky front usb though. I was messing around at bestbuy to get hand-on it seems that the new 2011-12 are way cheap and the menu, bass, sub cont, was hard to use with the single knob. im looking for something else. what alpine model should i look for.
