Focus on what it sounds like inside your ride....happy neighbors are a good thing LOL! x2.. the goal of a system isnt to set of car alarms and piss people off. Thats what gives us car audio guys a bad name. To be blunt. My system is extremely unbalanced and my buddy's car made my friend's nose bleed with 2 type r's on the exact amp I have now. My van is louder from 1000 feet than it is from 5 feet and sounds like shit on the inside cuz all my low bass is half a mile down then street. I can move change in peoples console when i pull up next to them at a stoplight but cant break 130 dbs..... adam6604 Posted September 26, 2011 Report Share Posted September 26, 2011 I got two 15" re sx on a Brutus 2400 @.5, in a huge box with way to much port, I did a 139.8 @2ohms on music with truck off sealed on the dash.. I'm doing around a 142 now. You Deffinetly need a new box, maybe your box rise is screwing You up as well? The Brutus amps can take .5 ohms daily.. Driving my 2008 Dodge Ram 2500 MEGA cab with the 5.7 hemi.
