Skullz
Guess some of you need to actually open the youtube page to see they drove in lake ontario which happens to be fresh water so no salt water damage. Not something i would do personally but hey if you got it and can do it why the hell not, looked like a lot of fun if you ask me. TeamHT
If a vehicle is built properly, this would not have been a dumb move. Was the truck built properly? I do not know, just pointing out that if someone spent money and was slamming away on Boss he would get laughed at. There's a right way, and a wrong way. Same reason I laugh at the ghetto chops which lays some of the local trucks/SUVs on the ground but hit one bump and watch the whole thing seesaw the front end and rear end into the ground, lol. STEvil
all im saying is i would die for that truck and if thats salt water = badddd news because there wasnt a snorkel so some of that got in the intake there for in the cylinder.. and the tranny transfer case and difs had better been sealed good or hes in for like 100's of hrs of work and a huge bill Only an issue if he went deep enough to cause hydro-lock which he obviously didnt because the truck never stopped running. Cylinder/exhaust temperatures are hot enough that water in the intake in small amounts isnt an issue. The salt (its fresh water btw) wouldnt cause an issue either as it would not stay in the cylinders long enough to cause corrosion. Quote MickyMcD - "Capable of making some serious trouser flapping volumes at where's-my-testicles frequencies, the Servo-Drives used to be fairly jaw dropping..." Any time you have have a power wire next to your frame put some rubber hosing (or cut up an innertube) around it. The wire is bound to wiggle (due to driving or flex) and the casing will eventually wear through. Hammerdown... 1% no links to outside websites, business related FB/YT pages allowed.
