Trunk lid comes stock with nice thick padding on it, trunk barely moves and keeps a lot of the bass in. Only thing is that the plastic piece my lic. plate sits on makes a ton of noise. On the inside my rear deck is horrid lol. mullet Posted October 13, 2011 Report Share Posted October 13, 2011 I have deadener on the backside of my plate, entire underside of the trunk lid, foam in all trunk lid cavities and my single 12 is firing forward (not sealed from the rest of the trunk) and mine rattles like crazy even at low volumes. I am forward firing. for the most part, any trunk that has woofers firing back will have trunk rattle, basically at all times... any trunks that are firing forward sealed off with have little to non ive had both firing back and firing in, when i was firing in i had none at all, just a few things on the bottom of the car rattled, now that i went back to firing back..
