BeAlLsTaR13
from my previous testing ive had best results on the METER with subs and port firing back, now i have had the best SQ with subs and port firing into the cabin sealed off, for some reason the lows i get are phenomenal, you would think it'd be the other way around but for some reason i lose the authority of the lows from about 28-33hz in that range when firing back Team Sundown Audio**CURRENT** -- 2012 Scion tC Build Click Here **OLD** -- 2002 Pontiac Grand AM Build Click Herecheck them out, slap me a comment2002 Pontiac Grand AM SE 2.2l 4 cylinder ecotec.-------------------------------------------------------------------Head Unit - Alpine CDA-9887Subs - 2x Z 12 v.2s - v.3 + NS Soft partsAmplifier - Sundown Audio SAZ-3500DEnclosure - 3.33 Cubes tuned to 34.66hzFront Stage - JBL P660c 6.5" ComponentsRear Deck - Powerbass 4xl 6.5" Mid-RangeFront Stage Amplifier - Sundown Audio SAX-100.4DWires - Kicker Hyperflex 1/0, KnuKonceptz 1/0, Knu 4 and 8 Gauge, Kicker RCAsElectrical - 275 AMP DC Power H/O Alternator, XS Power S3400, XS Power D2700Videos - http://www.youtube.com/user/BeAILsTaR13-------------------------------------------------------------------
bumonskateboard6
I've done subs back port up and had canceling issues that made it sound like crap, then I went to subs back port back and that's been my best luck so far. My back seats don't fold down so I'm at a little bit of a disadvantage there. Low voltage doesn't blow amps. That's a myth. A router that does the sub holes makes rounded edges also?
armykyle1
from what I've seen subs back port back, I did a few different things in my car and that worked best. But sealing off firing forward seems to gain tons. I saw one guy who did this with 12s went from 145s to a 148 same box and all TEAM XS POWERTEAM HEAVY HERTZMy build- http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/194454-e46-bmw-build-pos/#entry2914134youtube- http://www.youtube.com/user/armykyle1big build starting

See that's the thing, I'm ok with installs but far from great. I like to do things myself, I refuse to pay for something I can do, only problem is I'm not 100% confident in myself when it comes to some stuff lol. Since I've never done it before I really wouldn't know where to start. bassrace
I like subs back port to side. OrionStang
I'm forward firing sealed off and I can get it out in a couple hours. I have to remove my passenger seat and the center console, though. I guarantee i'm tighter on space than you are. Start by making a panel that fits the opening (facing forward) as neat and tight as possible. This will be the template you use to sketch out your baffle layout and determine what size subs you really have room for, and if you have room for the proper port size. Make a templete out of what cardboard or something? I've always heard of people using expanding foam and stuff like that to seal off a trunk, that's why I was saying that I didn't want to. But any help you give would be greatly appreciated. thanks 2011 Mitsubishi OutlanderSony 712 Soundqubed HDS208 Alpine MRV-M500 Transmission line enclosure Soundqubed wiring Knu rca XS Power battery CNF terminals
