Yeah man the roads are okay here.Some places they are terrible and super small.I was driving my Impala here for almost 2 year with no problems so I'm not worried about it.Just won't be able to park in certain places because of the small parking spaces. UPDATE: So my truck made it here today but I can't get it until tomorrow when the customs office opens back up.Guess I have to file some papers with the Italians and register it on base before they will let me pick it up.Got to look at it and that was it Well tomorrow I should have some Italian pics of it. Real96SS Posted November 10, 2011 Author Report Share Posted November 10, 2011 Well today was not a good day at all for me or the Avy.First I wake up extra early to be at the registration place at 0730 to get all the paperwork done so I can get clearance from customs by 0900 so I can pickup my truck.Well somehow I got skipped twice and didn't get done until 1015. The Italian Customs guys are so lazy and when I got there they told me that they had already went and filed the customs paperwork and wasn't going to do mine until tomorrow.What? So they didn't want to get off their asses and take an hour to get my papers on file so I could pickup my truck.Now on a normal day this wouldn't have really been a problem but apparently the Italians at the VPC decided that they would take off on American holidays also.So their off tomorrow when my paperwork will be done.SUCKS BALLSSSSS!!!!! Well I decided to try and see if I could still get the truck and was told no its illegal without customs clearance papers.Okay well I asked to see my truck and first thing I notice when I'm walking around it is my front passenger rim is dented to shit.Talk about pissed.So now when I go to pick it up on Monday I have to file a claim and wait 3 months to get a settlement.So in the meantime I get to order another rim out of my own pocket.Yeah it wasn't a good day at all.Now I'm at home pissed with no truck and my mind keep telling me that they fucked my rim up.So I'm going to bed since I have to work tonight and hopefully this weekend will pass fast because only having my baby at home will make me feel better. Sorry for the paragraph but I had to vent to someone and I know you guys on this forum would understand more than my wife would. Thanks and yeah being able to drive it come Monday is the only upside to this.The rim I have no clue where to start on trying to fix it and ordering another one is going to be difficult and very costly overseas.Which is why i put them on before I shipped it.Don't think they even have a good 100miles on them yet.This rims issue will have to be fixed before I can do anything else because they may not pass it for inspection with that dent and its not small you can see it even if your not really paying attention.
