Did you try to take out the solox's cone from the basket assembly to inspect the coil on it? Do you happen to have a multi meter to test the resistance of your sub? Also what happens to the amp itself when you try to use it? As for what happened on the first page i was being an ass and i apologize about it, my co-worker had a smaller alpine amp and one of those headunit packs did not put out near their rated power even on damn good electrical too. They will work but from what i experienced they didnt clamp too well but that was not the same amp, his was the same size but i remembered it was a different model one. That box is the same shitty prefab box i got for my solox 12 which is tuned to over 58Hz and is wayyy too damn small for a sub like the solox. The amp is not near enough power for that amp either and the headunit pack is only for specific alpine head units which makes the speaker outputs through the traditional wires get extra power but from what ive been told they distort to all hell. Save your money and get something thats so much better. The sub itself isnt half bad but the box, amp, and headunit pack are deff not worth your time or money. Alpines do rated and then some dude I don't know what your talking about. --2004 Toyota 4runner New Build Log -2002 Acura Tl-S Old Build Log Team DC Audio spl dust is an option you can get on the coils... it's great for extra 1000 watts of power where can i get this spl dust and how much is it. is it hard to apply? lol

Jesus that's such a fucking deal! Alpine amps, even the small ones, do rated or more power and sound good. Idk why all these people are hating. And Solo X's can vet very loud and sound very good doing it in the right enclosure. So many haters. Good job!
