I know the cats were bad but don't remember seeing you head gaskets being bad. Yeah the color wasn't my first choice but for the deal I got it at I definitely don't mind it. Its not as purple as the hood looks in the pic though. Depending on the angle its dark maroon or dark purple. The hood was just because of lighting
