949
hey guys i just saw a sample at a store and really liked the construction. i dont know if their function is as nice as the looks are. the box seems very well constructed. simple and solid. i am looking into getting a box with an 8 inch sub in it for a daily driver. model number: LE-308 or LE-MINI-8 just to add a little more push but with out sacrificing the trunk space, honda accord 01 coupe. the price they were asking for was within budget for the box and woofer. what is your take on the product? will i be able to get enough ummph out of the small woofer? is it efficient enough for a small box? whats the quality of the woofer and box? i am also needing to get another larger empty box. the larger one is a box i dont want to use too much space either. i have been looking into getting this box... this box is perfect for my budget. i am comparing it to this one from DD.... its about double the cost for the DD but i have never used or even heard anyone with this exact box. the box with the plexi front, i have used. and for the price it works perfectly and loud. i really enjoyed it. i was told by the seller that the DD is a newer design and better. but he is also trying to sell me his box. so i dont know if it is really better. i am putting in it a diamond audio D6 12DVC2ohm sub. will this work well with my diamond sub? thanks for any advice you guys can supply. loudNlow87
Take a tape measure to it and figure out the Vb and Fb. Those would be the real determining factors as to whether or not it would be a good match. The box with the plexi looks to be a standard 4th order bandpass. Just as sealed/vented enclosures, some woofers don't perform that great in bandpass boxes. 6berry
i wouldnt go with the box with plexi because: its a prefab 4th order so it wont work well with most subs and it has that plexi on the front that is normally way too thin 1999 Audi A4 1.8T::: 4 - DC Level 3 10's in a 4th order Rockford P6002 on Subs for now (3-3.5k coming eventually) MB Quart ONX4.60 for Mids and Highs Boston S50 Components in Front Boston S65 Coaxials in Rear 40 Sq Ft of Second Skin Damplifier Build Thread UBL 1948 Plymouth

Team808
DD makes great stuff,so i am sure the boxes will work well, but like someone said above, get some mdf and make your own .even if it took you 2 times to get the box right, the cost would be way cheaper.
