Help me pick! Sundown SA-8 or SKAR VVX-8?

Well guys I recently picked up a 1993 Dodge Shadow.

I wanted to put a little system in it. I have a RE SRi 10" but I am leaning toward a 8" woofer because of the limited space in the trunk/hatch.

I am not really looking to meter really high or anything like that. I just want something that sounds great.

Both probably do sound great but I just cant choose between them on my own.

They are both have about the same specs and about the same price.

So any help or suggestions would be great!

I planed on running one of my older amplifiers to push the single woofer.

The amplifier is a Profile California AP1200 (600w RMS @ 4 ohm bridged)

Wait for the sa-8 v2. Or. Buy a DD1508 - used they can be around 120 shipped

id go with the sundown 8 it will probably get a little louder although everything will depend on the installation

don't the sa-8s have an inductance ring or something like that? lets you get more power out of your amp

I've done a lot of research one the DD1508 the sa8 and the skar8. If money is an issue the the SA or Skar. If you are looking for low bass then the skar. But in my honest opinion the Sa is the way to go. But that's just me and if you do the install correctly any of the 3 will be bad ass.

The skar 8's are garbage...Kevin at Skar actually had posted a video a while back of one of them playing and they sounded like shit...and not to mention the surrounds were crinkling on hardly any power...which I pointed out in a comment and then within like 2 hours the video was deleted.

I'd wait until the new SA 8 comes out. It is sexy.
