called it

L O fucking L

On a side note, all setups are different. People have success running hifonics amps at 1ohm or lower, like me :) but then again, I checked, double checked, and checked again all of my wiring and gains before going batshit crazy with my volume knob.

Running .5 ohm for months with no issues whatsoever.

My notion is leaning towards user error.

Yea soo dont blame it on the ohm.. , my amp is screwed to the sub box cant it be vibrating the amp to the point to fry it,...?

Yea hold on a secind there guys . When i had my 3 type r's they were wired to 1.3ohms and i smoked two and i had upgraded alt with bat and voltage went no lower than 13.5 volts . Like i asked can it be because of the vibrations of the amp

Being mounted to the box . The amp dosent even get hot. Either...

then why are you ignoring everyone saying the ohms are to low? and asking about vibrations? yes mounting an amp on the back of a box can blow it the vibrations can break solder fets feet caps and so on

if your not a moron why would you mount an amp to the back of the box then ask about it? again why are you ignoring what others are telling you? like setting your gains with a volt meter is not telling you anything nor does it mean your gains are set right or is it telling you if your clipping or the fact that your OHMS ARE TO LOW?

Have you ever had your woofers blown?

Funny thing.... I have the same amp. Been abusing it for months. You can see my gear in my sig. Fun thing is, I KNOW that this is supposed to come with the amp too:

Notice the big CAUTION! 1 ohm stable.

I also use the remote gain control that came with the amp. All tuned with a DD-1. No blown amps... no blown subs... hmmm. wonder what else it could be. dry.gif
