Yea disregard what i said about the 80Hz HPF, id get it to 250 or 300 if you want to play it safe and do 24db either way. I think your speaker is fucked either way with how badly that cone is creased and i still think ur clipping it since you did it by ear

I checked the speaker cavity which protrudes from the door its dry in the door and cavity this is why i was stubborn to believe that it was ferro. Can we agree whether or not it is? The company that make these speakers are like 30 min from my house should i go this week and try and work something out?

YES it is spitting ferro fluid. I am willing to bet your crossover is also not set properly for these. Too much bass is causing enough excursion to pushi he fluid out and wrinkle the cone since it basically has no surround.

those DO say they have ferro fluid so there is a good chance your current speakers may have it as well. you should post a link to the specs of your currents speakers.

I'm going to strongly suggest that you stay away from O2 speakers. I have personally never liked the products that company has made. and your finding reasons why i dont trust them.

After a bit of searching these do in fact have ferro fluid and are pro midranges so i would guess that your playing them way to low and with way to much power, you'll want to use them as midranges and get some other speakers for midbass or even trade those in for some midbass speakers.

Those speakers can't handle under 250-300hz at the power rating.(which is 130w.)

Turn the subsonic=LPF up to 300 hz at least. Better to turn it up to 400-500hz.

Can you clean the "fluid" off? It kind of looks like rust to me. Looks nothing like ferrofluid.
