If I even turn my sub level up to +5 as is right now it sounds like poop haha. In all the few years I've been learning about car audio I've never heard that, I always see "set everything to flat then turn the gain up", I guess that meant just the EQ and the sub should always be +15. Decaf Posted March 14, 2012 Report Posted March 14, 2012 The kenwood xmodels do not clip at 35... the last few clicks account for over 1v of signal. Since you arent getting 4v, switch to .1-2v and see how that works out. If your stock speakers connected to the headunit are the reason you cannot go higher than 29, then use 29 and again put gain on. 1-2v
Confessed Posted March 14, 2012 Author Report Posted March 14, 2012 Well idk what changed but everything seems to work fine now. The only problem I have now is the fact that my trunk sounds horrid and my box is really bad.
