tacomaguy1
All I know is that tacomas have shitty frames...I drilled through it no problem. Sanded it down good and secured my grounds. Was getting voltage drop down to 10v. Switched my grounds to the batts and was back up to 13.5+ Edited March 24, 2012 by tacomaguy1 Quote Team Flex Issues
blownengine
When I drill metal I lubricate the bit and turn at a slower speed. I drilled a handful of holes in 3/16 steel the other day. It takes a while but it keeps the bit alive. matt14
Do not drill at full speed. Use a good bit, and you should have no problems. Seriously though, if your battery is grounded to the frame of your truck and if your connections are good then you shouldn't see voltage drops into the 10's. Unless the frame is made of plastic Quote Check out my build log! 4 Havocs in a blowthrough http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/187506-sprkn-rangers-blowthrough-build/
JacobB89
Lol guess I'll have fun drilling my frame. Try starting with a smaller bit nd work your way up to the size you need. Sharp bits make a work of difference. Quote Big Wheels Are Like G-Strings...Anyone can put them on but it don't mean they look good.....
