n8ball2013
Larry thats the misconception im talking about. If you want to use the full preout voltage your sub voltage needs to be turned up. Ive never seen a head unit that gives full output voltage at 0. Ask Ray. He will tell you the same thing. Im very skeptical on any results being given now after a few of these posts. getlocivic
my cousin picked up a apk3500 and it seems to be doing the job..and on just a quick clamp test it was doing 2500w rms wired at 1ohm.. (unknown impedance rise) and voltage dropping to 12.7.. again this was just a quick test later this week when he gets more battery bank we will test it again
n8ball2013
I have a feeling that afgter a few more people get thier hands on these you're gonna see they are very similar to crescendo. They got smart and started doing what everyone else did .just buy the design and stick their name on it. doug118
And pick a different casing from the catalog I went ahead and fixed that for ya. Most of these companies are just choosing parts from a catalog for their amps. Not many companies have copyrights to anything on their amps. I'm almost positive if I found out exactly where these were built, I could go and assemble the EXACT amp (if ordered the minimum requirement) 2001 Tahoe. theChief
All my HU eq settings were at 0 except the sub level. Look, the results I posted are what I got. I'll make a video showing it all if I have to prove it. & the HU might not put out full voltage without the level all the way up I don't doubt that, but with it all the way up I am 99% sure the level I run my radio at would be distorted. When I get home I'll grab the scope and find it all out since it's that big of a deal. As far as any testing on the amp I won't be doing any more of that until the build is done. I'll make a video of the whole system tune & amp clamp & that will speak for itself. Remain skeptical if you wish.
Ninja_v1.0
IF YOU WANT FULL OUTPUT FROM YOUR KENWOOD THEN YOU NEED TO HAVE THE SUB LEVEL TO 15.. IF YOU ARE SETTING GAINS WITH A DD-1 YOU WONT EVEN GET A DAMN SIGNAL UNTIL VOLUME 24/35 WITH SUB LEVEL AT 0. When your at the top everyone is coming for you, friends, family, haters and even those who don't know you.. my advice.. KILL EM ALL
