SnowDrifter Posted April 11, 2012 Report Posted April 11, 2012 Ok, so I am getting ready to pull the trigger on a Fi SP4. But I have something on my mind... The specs on Fi's site say this: DUAL 1 | DUAL 2 0.65 Ohms/coil | 1.27 Ohms/coil I want to have it wired to .5 ohms (crescendo 3500) but I have a concern: If I get the dual 1 I am worried about the amp seeing 1/3 ohm instead of a half ohm because of the .65 ohms/coil as per the specs, or would I be OK because it's a dual 1 ohm coil? OP - why did you bump the thread? Joe X provided you with the correct answer. The sub is dual 1 ohm.
