He is watching for the peak impedance within the useable bandwidth

Audio noob here. How does he know what 'useable bandwidth' is? I thought he was kinda finding that out by looking at the ohms. Still confused.

OK guys, these things are 5 weeks out. I think tomorrow, i will get the pre-sale started. I know its not a tool for everyone, but if you know what it is, and how to use it, get on board for one of the first ones when they arrive!

i will start a whole new post when i get the product up on the main page for sale.

we will have a nice little list of things it can do and possibly some experiments laid out for people to understand the power of this unit. This is bigger then most people think. :)

If someone can confirm this, or tell me it's wrong, then that would be awesome!

Anyways, I think I read somewhere that the Fs (free air resonance frequency) of the speaker is where it's impedance is the highest. This means that at that frequency it will hardly need any power to move the cone. So even though the amp really is barely putting out any power at those frequencies, it can still move the cone without issue.

This only applies to the speaker sitting in a free air environment.
