captainhook426
Misfire is covered under the drive train warranty... Most likely a spark issue though shitty plugs from the factory. AB18VFL
i had a real bad misfire in my monte carlo, the car would litterally jolt badly at idles. I got new spark plugs and used some fuel injector cleaner, and it went away. the check engine light even went off. Quote SUBSCRIBE AT YOUTUBE! 18abVFL < CLICK!! 2005 Subaru Impreza My build log. S15_Silvia
It's not the curse of buying American. It's the curse of buying Chrysler. You're probably right. I did some shadowing at Delphi today and apparently the van died while I was there. My mom told me that the engine began running 'like shit' and lost power/throttle response. It's currently at the dealer. Quote 2016 Subaru BRZ | Sony XAV-AX100 | Rockford Fosgate DSM 4080 & DSM 40ix | On 6/6/2012 at 6:32 PM, 'LZTYBRN' said: 3. ChrisAllen
I think the change interval on plugs for the 4.0 is like 45k or something like that? Change the plugs! If they're not due at 45k, then they're more than likely due at 60k anyhow. And that depends on driving conditions. They can go out earlier than that!
