OK, OK, here we go.

This was with the stock rear deck:

Here's the new ported rear deck:

Gained about 2.5dB :woot:

Looks like I'm a ways from the elusive 50, but I'm happy with the 48.

Not too bad for a trunk car that's not fully focused on SPL.

ever considered maybe a bigger sub, like one step up to hit that magical 150?

Can't really.

15's won't fit at an angle up against my rear seat.

Level 5 motors are too big and would hit the sides of my ports inside the box.

I really don't want to redo my sub box as this one has way too many hours in it to scrap it.

I'd like some usable trunk space too, so I can't expand the box.

That's OK though, I'm happy with how everything is turning out.

I've only got a very short amount of time in playing around with various songs and how they meter so we'll see what I can do after a bit more playing time.

I'll wrap up this stage of the build and see where I want to go from there.

Nice work Jamie! Nice gains for sure!

i thought you told me before that you thought you could get more from your ports. I hear you on the work hours on the enclosure though. But you may sing a different tune when you get as much out of her as you can. Then you'll know if you need a new one or not. Besides, when is it ever done!?

Way to go buddy! Happy to see the gains for you.

Ok that's enough back to work!
