HunterJohnson Posted May 6, 2012 Report Share Posted May 6, 2012 My experience from the sa-8 is I love to play my subwoofers hard from beginning till the coil burns up and dies. If the subwoofer starts stinking turn it off!! Means it's working too hard, second the sa took lots of power and continued to get louder the longer I played it and The more the suspension loosed up. Clean signal and lota power to loosen her up haha just make sure she doesn't smell like burnt coil! Grab a SMD DD1 and tune it correctly, then play it at 3/4 that unclipped max volume for a few weeks. you will notice they will get louder and louder the more you play them. turning the knob up doesn't increase the break in time... it does however increase a break time. lol...
