Amart88
So I got my battery "rack" done, I plan on screwing my aluminum buss bar on some 2x4's. is it ok to have it directly on them? I heard some people say thats its fine and wood is an isolator and others said sometimes wood can conduct electricity. So whats the verdict? Thanks Quote My 2005 s10 blazer build. 4 zcon 18's walled. CJ18
Over size the hole so the the screw doesnt touch the metal and use a plastic washer on top also.

SnowDrifter
Wood is an insulator oops, my bad. So, Ill be ok then? Yup. For the inside of the car right? If so, then you should be fine. Using plastic washers and such won't hurt, but it's overkill IMHO. P.S. I wasn't correcting your spelling, just confirming that we were both talking about the same thing Quote ~~~~~~~~SAY NO TO PHOTOBUCKET~~~~~~~~ Snow's DD-1 tracks here: https://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/167433-snows-dd-1-tracks/ My take on OFC vs CCA: https://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/110381-things-that-piss-you-off-in-the-car-audio-world/?do=findComment&comment=2461444
