2003 Chevrolet Monte Carlo SS IB Trunk Build - RF Fi Infinity Pioneer XS Power MechMan SHCA Knu Gates ...

Recommended Posts

such a clean build.

zeke, you need wire... for the love of god, get a hold of me... jesus man....

great build bro.... id say "keep it up", but you dont need any of that ish..... well done.

Thank you very much, Sir ... that means a ton to me coming from you.

I have been secretly following your build, & I think if you do much more to that Blazer, you are going to rattle it to its damn core!! Fi Audio subs - Fuck The World!!! I know you love yours, & I certainly am in love with mine.

I am going to be posting a side-by-side with a question here in a few minutes, & I would love your opinion/input ... I am afraid if I make a separate Topic, it might be considered a "Vs." thread, & I certainly know the rules. Maybe you can even tell me how to post it as a question & not as a vs.

I don't know, ...

Stay tuned, if you will.

Pretty..... Like the red. Therewas a thread a week ago or so that said welding cable is better. Allows more amperage thru it. ?

See the beginning of Page 8 when you have a moment ... Would love your input.

On the left-hand side is the Knu Fleks 1/0, & right is the 1/0 welding cable that is already in place as my ALT ---> BATT "Big 3" cable ... Both are OFC ...

Should I yank the 1/0 welding in favor of the 1/0 Knu?!

I don't see much difference between the two, I would leave the welding wire in place. Kyle may have a different opinion, I'm tuned in to see. This is a nice build, just read through all 8 pages and I must say it is very clean and from the vids it looks like it sounds the same. Good work man, keep it up!

Yeah, I have been awaiting a response from Kyle too ... & since he was ready, I thought he might have jumped on it then & there after I tagged him, ... but I know he is super-popular Member here, & maybe in a day or two I will reach out to him again ...

Anyhow, I did create a Topic about the issue while doing my best to not make it a Vs. & where it would not turn into a bitch fest or something because it is eBay weld cable Vs. a very popular brand here ... & a brand that you no doubt see that I used in the 4awg of POS & NEG to each amp. You can see the few responses here: http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/189250-changing-alt-batt-big-3-cable-from-welding-to-car-audio-cable-do-it/

Lastly, & needless to say, it means a lot to me for each & every ounce of feedback I get on what I have done, & my efforts at troubleshooting what I thought was the right way to tackle my issues as each one came up. So, thank you, Sir, for taking the time to peruse the whole deal here. :) I have more ideas to come, some stereo-related, some performance, others cosmetic, & I intend to share them all here in this thread.

Take care, & look FWD to hearing from you again ...
