The really smart and careful guy I knew wasn't working the day I had it installed, so some dumbass probably threw it together in a hurry. Thanks for the input and advice everyone. I really appreciate it. After I get my amp ordered and get everything installed I will update back here.

i would say go with 0 gauge as well , you can get a new rockford fosgate 0 gauge kit at amazon or ebay for around $100 and the fact that rf will extend your rf amp warranty for 1 year for using their kit should tell you something about the quality of their amp kit

Holy shit. Self tapping screws and didn't sand the paint. That's the problem right there

Must've been a previous Best Buy installer with the self tapping screw trick...

Im not the one you want to try to troll. Just a fyi for you.

:jawdrop: You should sue the audio shop or do something. Did they do the whole install or did u do some and they did some?

he doesn't need 0 gauge. a real 4 gauge kit will do him just fine.

i also suggest thinking about doing the big 3 on your car

Quality work right there . . . and yeah, that "4 Gage" looks like it may be more like 8 gauge . . .

i think its 4, the boot is on backward which makes it look smaller than it is.
