Skullz Posted June 4, 2012 Report Share Posted June 4, 2012 Used my cars doors to try a few on, P&S on one door, EDEAD on another and finally audio technix on both to replace the others. P&S reduced noise and vibrations but had an off color sound to it, while it did do what you would think it could it was no means worth it. The edead sounded much better than the P&S and reduced vibrations even more so i knew i was going in the right direction. Finally i tried out AT and got even better results with it than with the other 2 products combined and then went a step farther with poly batting lining the inside walls of the doors and can say i never knew mids in the doors could produce bass on that level along with vocals that are just stunning. Plus youtube does such a great job showing flex hearing rattles and showing the differnce in treated and non treated metal I think alot more people like exo then like you. Take this thread for example. A newbie would be able to read through this and find out reasons, products, and maybe even a few hints so their system is that much better. Isn't that the goal of a forum ? To have everyone help everyone? What help is a locked thread with no inputs on products, reasoning, debits, helpful hints during install, why one thing might work better then another (omg its now magically a vs thread) even though they were just trying to help.
