Running a single turbo means half the number of turbos to potentially die...and it's going to be a hell of a lot more work to change one of those twin turbos than a single, due to the additional IC/exhaust/oil hardware floating around.

Nice steady power from low end to redline. Less boost for the same power. Less cooling, etc.

can the rest of the car, down stream hold up??,, tran, axles,.. all that shit????

I swapped bigger tires on to my jeep,.. and doing so, had to swap axles... maybe the speed deal is differnet,..then again, it was a ford 9", those are bullet proof....

Weak spots are connecting rods, clutch, and rear suspension. Suspension has been addressed, clutch is next, and won't be running enough boost initially to hurt the motor.

Just wondering. Why turbo? Why not go the route of a roots charger?

Because everybody and their mom has one here.

i thought most of the time boost was regulated by an external wategate so adjusting boost is just a matter of turning a dial and tuning for it not the case with a s/c

Btw that was the first person. Ever banned by me while dropping a deuce. Feel privileged

Turbos are fun, but don't take any short cuts.

If it was me I would build a turbo motor and pull your stock one and keep for when you need to put it back in.
