OrionStang Posted December 20, 2013 Author Report Posted December 20, 2013 A couple other goodies i've added. Gauge pillar and boost gauge. The second spot is for a wide band afr. Thought about trying to get the SMD vm-1 in there, but wrong shape and too bright LOL. JLT oil separator. Actually catches a lot of oil. Sucking oil into the intake leaves deposits on the screws that can affect boost, and any oil that gets into the combustion chamber lowers overall octane which equals knock. The ones at autozone seem expensive for how quickly I would use them up, not sure how reliable they are. Is it like a fuel booster he wouldnt be the first to say they did a 167 with a system like that (one that clearly DOESNT), but i have to say, he didnt beat me anywhere, ive never competed against the guy. Most the octane boosters on the shelf are bullshit. Torco and Lucas Oil are the only ones I would use. I had a knock issue and started using the Torco, went away completely, along with the power loss from the computer pulling timing to kill the knock. I fill up at 1/4 tank and add half a bottle per fillup. So, at $20 a bottle, it costs me $10 more per fillup. But the results are there. I get a case of six on ebay for $120ish, good for 12 fillups.
