What they should have done, sorry to say it. Sounds like they pulled the car in a stall, let it idle, said it was fine. Pisses the fuck out of me off. But Im with boom, I don't think they actually looked for anything. Any half-ass mechanic would hear the missing I told them about, not to mention there are codes, I don't know how they can say there aren't. I have the new plugs coming and ill do my own compression tests when I change them out. Anyway, if something does break now before warranty is up, they fucked themselves. Because according to their report, everything is running great with the KB installed. Lets get this build log back on track now. The box I had built is tuned way too low LOL. And it will probably peak even lower once sealed up. I can play 26hz full tilt, and it absolutely destroys at 30-33. But anything above 40, is just ok. I designed it, my bad. Maybe low enough that you dont have to make any large changes to the enclosure or port..maybe just shorten it up. OrionStang Posted January 23, 2014 Author Report Posted January 23, 2014 My mids sound just fine to me, and the subs do play up well, but its really noticeable when a songs bass line transitions from 32 to 45, the drop off is there.
