Crandis16
There should be a little more excursion in free air so you don't want to do free air full tilt. was this sundown B-stock or did it happen out of nowhere? Joe X
It makes the sound holding it in air too I just can't film it when I do it. .6 is plenty of room for the sub. The ripple effect you are seeing is the camera effect.. It can't pick up the motion of the sub. Then you need to check the sub with another amp or the amp with another sub. SnowDrifter
Did you pick it up off the box and free air it again>? I've had something similar happen. TheBetterMethod
You're bottoming out. Have an amp with Subsonic (Infrasonic) filter would be the best cure. 2005 Subaru Outback Wagon Pioneer 9400BH Fi Q 15, SAZ1500dV3 The first build>>> http://www.stevemead...-outback-build/ 140.9 @ 36hz Sealed on dash! Socky
Need to take it out of the box and test it, If it still does, means the sub might need a new recone. I bet you were unloading it, but it should be able to play juice box if its tuned to 31 hz. I wouldnt play it full tilt if it sounds like that, To me, that sounds like the it bottoming out like a mofo. Could be to big of a box for the power you are feeding it, causing no cone control. dkahns51
It could have been damaged during shipping the stryofoam that was in the box was busted up and the sub was almost coming threw box on the magnet area. **Clicky>>My 2009 Subaru Impreza Outback Sport Buildlog<<Clicky** I'm messing up 98% of the time
