Or you could aways wire your sub up to 4ohm and that would put you aroud 500w on that AQ1200... edit: that will leave you some head room if you wnated to change setups later. Thats cool. It has 60amps in fuses (pops at 600watts at 10 volts) And then if you wanted to go bigger or get more 8's, you can reallocate that amp to the mids and highs and get a bigger amp. *New vehicle and system coming soon.*

Why 4 ohm when they can handle the 1 ohm load just fine? Assuming his signal is clip-free, that is. You will have to do the Big 3, by the way. Do the big 3 everytime a barebone for a custom soundsystem.
