Now what to do with these 12 channels of power?

Huh?

These 2 are 150x4 I also have a 125x4 to make it a trifecta of fun

not many cars can get me to pluggin my ears but this one.......damn. I mean the first minute is ok but that thing just really starts digging deeper and deeper in your earhole till you cant stand it no more. Seems like it does it with relative ease....16 12's on 8 amps.........gotta love it. :)

I was just messing around like I couldn't hear. because you will most likely use all them channels and chits going to be loud

Quality is all in how you take pictures ;) I have plenty of projects that look WAY better on camera then in person :D

crazy to fit so many in so little. Reminds me of some of the porns I've seen?

While out in the garage waiting for Russ and Scott to make a stop by, I got to looking at the center console between the 2nd row seats. This buts up to the amp rack that I will be making for all the 4ch amps, so i figured I would mess around with it for a bit.

This is the lower section that sits on the frame work between the seats

The I made a couple templates for the base.

takes a little work to make it fit snug.

When you dont have a way to template something, You need to make one.

064-1.jpg

065-1.jpg

The top of the base has rings to set the upper base into the lower. These needed to go so I could lay my wood base flat.

The plastic is pretty thin, so it was a little tricky to flush trim cut out the center.

Then used the template to make a couple extra templates in case I need a few versions

Next was to add the heavy duty slides.

077-1.jpg

Then added the base of the upper console.

Then the 2 mounted up.

Next step is to fill in the gap between the 2. I have a few ideas for it. Need to pick up a few things this week to see if my idea works.

Will that be sliding forward then? Hopefully you don't have anything heavy in it and have to hit the brakes :lol2: but I'm sure you already thought of that.

Is it bad I get a quarter chub watching this build? :D

QTR chub is pretty impressive coming from you ;)

The rails have a latch point when closed. I am thinking of a way I can motorize it while hiding all the parts. I just ordered more cigars to help with the planning. :D
