kingsuv Posted October 7, 2012 Author Report Share Posted October 7, 2012 Friday about mid day, I decided that after work I was going to pull the dash and change it out to black. My original plan was to make a 3 day weekend out of it in case I ran into troubles. So I said fux it and got busy. 500 bolts later, she was out. I'd be lying if I said it was easy. Scrubbed clean and prepped for paint. Laid down the flat black. More then a couple years of dirt. All the little details that need to be painted. Had an issue with the 3 lower panels. They all 3 bubbled up with the adhesion promoter. Now I get to take them all the way down and start over. Back in the truck and only took about 10 min to rebolt everything. The steering wheel really sets the look off. LOL I still have some work to do to the bezel. I'm having a hard time spraying without getting the peel. Going to do a couple things this week to see if I can fix it. But for today, I'll let it be. Designing, building, and shipping boxes. I mean the first minute is ok but that thing just really starts digging deeper and deeper in your earhole till you cant stand it no more.
