No actually that's just a solid piece and I did heavy brushed copper appearance. It looked pretty good so I used it. :-)

It does look good. I thought you had figured out something I hadn't yet with the coils. I attempted building a sub over the summer but when I got to the surround after I had made the cone and dust cap I gave up.

Lol that's where I cheated a bit. Cone surround cap are all one same revolved piece. The recone is all one reloved piece. Just different areas. U can do a 3d sketch and do a coil/spring now. I might try that out. Its new 2013 inventor.

Here are my best projects. These are printed on Arch C size paper 24" x 36" and then laminated.
