KiKaZz74
No actually that's just a solid piece and I did heavy brushed copper appearance. Krakin
It does look good. I thought you had figured out something I hadn't yet with the coils. I attempted building a sub over the summer but when I got to the surround after I had made the cone and dust cap I gave up. Krakin's Home Dipole Project http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/186153-krakins-dipole-project-new-reciever-in-rockford-science/#entry2772370 Krakin, are you some sort of mad scientist? I would have replied earlier, but I was measuring the output of my amp with a yardstick . . . What you hear is not the air pressure variation in itself but what has drawn your attention in the two streams of superimposed air pressure variations at your eardrums An acoustic event has dimensions of Time, Tone, Loudness and Space Everyone learns to render the 3-dimensional localization of sound based on the individual shape of their ears, thus no formula can achieve a definite effect for every listener. KiKaZz74
Lol that's where I cheated a bit. Cone surround cap are all one same revolved piece. The recone is all one reloved piece. Just different areas. U can do a 3d sketch and do a coil/spring now. I might try that out. Its new 2013 inventor. KiKaZz74
Here are my best projects. These are printed on Arch C size paper 24" x 36" and then laminated. There is about 20 hours of rendering and picture grabbing on the vise and around 8 -12 on the sub. I don't remember what computers I did it on but that's the main time factor.
