He is a candyass at home. But when the handlers have him, it's like he knows he is showing off.

I got a little work done this weekend. Had no idea what the hell I was doing with Panel Bonding and still don't :)

So here is my fun trial and error adding support to whats left of my back wall under the rear window.

This crap is not cheap

20140707_180913_zpsivd2xxl0.jpg

16g 3/4" flat steel and 16g 1"x1/2" square steel

20140802_141406_zpsvn8ddy9w.jpg

Both pieces were measured and then matched up so the bolt holes could be drilled at the same time. I wanted to make sure nothing was off when they went back together.

The outside piece was color matched to the truck

20140803_162127_zpsmoqnx6hy.jpg

A dremel was used to grind off the area getting Panel bond applied

20140809_172240_zpsr08rg7qj.jpg

20140810_185415_zps4pntvqiq.jpg

inside piece being prefit

20140809_191343_zpsnzrui6qp.jpg

All bolted in from the inside. I left the threaded rod long so it could be used to attach a beauty at some point

And now the not so pretty part. I made a little bit of a mess with the panel bond. will grind it off and clean it up later. the other issue was that the metal piece being bonded doesnt lay flat between the bolts. It layed flat until the whole setup was glued and tightened down.

I do not expect to see to much flex anymore from the back window.
