kirill007 Posted November 14, 2012 Report Posted November 14, 2012 I'd spend the money you want to spend on audiotechnix and use it the same amount of money with second skin or sounddeadenershowdown.(i'd go for sounddeadenershowdown, because he has done a LOT of research and always answers in the correct way) Sounds like all that crap I read on SSA ... Don't get me wrong here ... Sound Deadner Showdown is a great product !!! Not denying that at all ... But they can not beat Audio Technix's prices (no where close) ... and the product seems just as good (when installed correctly) ... I do believe in paying more for better product, but nobody has proven to me yet that Sound Deadner Showdown is better than Audio Technix ... Have you ever asked for samples from all those companies? You will feel and see a difference in quality. Thinking is the root of all problems... You ALWAYS get what you pay for.

You will feel and see a difference in quality. The very first thing I listen for in a vehicle is "Quiet" ... I go and get enough demos at shows and events that I do not have to waste my money on sample products when Coleman Helped me out in a competition crisis when no one else even considered ... So yes, I've sampled just about EVERY product out there and I'm being told by the Antique / classic / mussle car world that the Audio Technix materials being insstalled in their vehicles is blowing Dynamat Extreme away ... and that is suppost to be the best in the market ... I'm honnestly going by what I see in the real world verses what I read on the internet ... kirill007 Posted November 14, 2012 Report Posted November 14, 2012 Dynamat has been outdated for quite a time. There are quite a lot of people who think it's the best because it used to be the standard. I have no experience with the new audiotechnix, but the old one was crappy. If I could choose between audiotechnix or SDS/SS, i would choose second skin or SDS over audiotechnix. I would really like to use SDS(not only because the product is great, but also because the owner has put in A LOT of work into his business and hard work should be rewarded), but SS is easier for me to get. Thinking is the root of all problems... You ALWAYS get what you pay for.
CJ18 Posted November 14, 2012 Report Posted November 14, 2012 I never used the old deadener, but the ne 80mil is very nice. I just installed in the doors of my truck and it works great. As for the wire, I will put it right there with any other 1/0 OFC or CCA on the market. Quality is good and price is right.
HatersGonnaHate Posted November 14, 2012 Report Posted November 14, 2012 Coleman is a great guy, products are amazing, prices are tough to beat, customer service is top notch. I've used the old "peanut butter" style deadener and it is amazing, made a huge difference in my car. Used his new style of deadener as well, made a huge difference on my doors. Compared the new deadener to the MurderMat..... If MurderMat was, as Brian said "copying" the deadener style,.they did a terrible job lol. The MurderMat was flimsy as hell and couldn't hold a candle to the new Audio Technix deadener. Also used a lot of the CCA wire, 8ga and 0ga. The 0ga is just as flexible as the 8ga. So easy to work with, easy to run the wire, nice strand count. Swordlordboy1234 Posted November 14, 2012 Report Posted November 14, 2012 Let me just say, Coleman is an awesome guy, I use both his CCA 1/0 and CCA 4 gauge and both are awesome. Super flexible wire, he sends you practically everything except a crimper and cutter for the amp kits... And doing my big 3 with his CCA made my voltage drop go from 10.8 at 2k RPM to 13.4 at idle, and that's the only thing I changed was the big 3. His deadener is out of this world. I have 50 feet of his 60 mil. First I think he sent me an extra sheet or two. Second, super flexible and not messy. Easy to cut, easy to stick.. Stays stuck. Even upside down. Made a HUGE difference in my mid bass and rattles. 100% check out Audio Technix My old YouTube channel : http://www.youtube.com/user/SwordLords1234?feature=mhee My old build log : http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/161872-96-accord-b2-sundown-sky-high-dc-power-re-re-build-for-heatwave/page-37 My New Build - http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/207041-2016-mazda-6-sql-build/ 2016 Mazda 6 Touring JL Fix 86 - OEM signal correction B2 prototype DSP 6to8 B2 Ref63 - 3 way active set 2 B2 Class H quattro's 1 B2 Zero.5R @.5 2 B2 HNv3 12 d2 B2 SLIP40 - Lithium in the trunk Northstar Group 35 under the hood 100ft 2/0 welding cable 30ft 4ga welding cable 20ft 8ga welding cable All stinger OFC speaker wire Soundrive custom RCA's Tons of attention to detail....
