boostin302
Hey Steve got a small suggestion on that liquid cooling setup and it's cheap insurance incase it ever leaks. Run it as a hose inside a hose. 1/4 inside a 3/8 ( not actual size, just as reference) that way if fluid hose leaks some how the fluid isn't going every where. Cheap insurance . Really good build Quote My build log http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/143943-2001-mustang-gt-system-rebuild-box-build-pics-updated-61512/ 2001 Ford Mustang GT 4.6 SOHC 380HP 270 amp Mechman alt 2 12" Treo SSX custom built. 6.47 cu ft, tuned to 32Hz 2 hifonics Brutus 2400.1, strapped 1 optima yellow top 1 Kinetic HC1800 14.4v @ 29Hz, 2k RPM over 100ft 1/0 XS flex wire Big 3 in 1/0 100sq ft fatmat deadener 145.3 on music, 142.6 sealed on music Stop being a pussy and wall it off. Mtnbikecrazy55
Sick build!! If you don't plan on keeping those logitech speakers around, I'll buy them off of you for a fair price once you're done with them. I've been using a set of computer speakers in my dorm that i got at a yard sale a few years back for cheap, but just the other day the left one stopped working. I Just figured if you were just going to use them short term, might as well get some money back for em! Sure they may be junk to you, but they sure would be good enough for me and way better than what I got now! Let me know if you want to sell them- Chris Quote I hate long signatures.... ...what the fuck is wrong wiht you you fucking fuckity fuck fuck head... beaker
I was going to mention something about the thermal paste too, which is something I didnt know until about 2 years ago. It will drop temps by like 15 degrees just doing a dot instead of smearing beforehand.
meade916
It'll work fine. I'm sure if he took the heatsink off, it'll be evenly distributed. it will be. I always do it like that and i have never had a problem. I was going to mention something about the thermal paste too, which is something I didnt know until about 2 years ago. If that was the case, all the PC's i have built would run hot and they don't, they all run nice and cool. Especially on water. Maybe someone somewhere had a problem, but i won't. Ill take notes for next time though. Quote All SMD products + MORE available at my store here! https://wccaraudio.com/ Subscribe to My Youtube Channel! Over 1,000,000 subscribers strong! Ill take notes for next time though. It may make more difference on air, Thats all I've run until recently. I switched to ceramique thermal paste and wasnt seeing the drops I was expecting (it was still lower and well within range even overclocked after cure time). I read about the pea sized dot, cleaned it off and tried it and I got about 12 degrees under full load in Prime95. Some people where reporting up to 15.
