Crazy things we see/hear at work

I worked in a night club for 2 years I saw and heard some crazy stuf, but the funnyest thing I can remember was when a guy asked a girl to merry him she said "MF ill s*** your d*** and f*** all you want but don't be askin me to merry you" I felt sorry for the guy but couldn't stop laughing all night I couldn't even tell the story to rest of the staff with out laughing

Last year during a Christmas party, we had another bar location about an hour away come to ours. We had girls in the bathroom snorting blow, people trying to screw in the bathrooms, 6 or 7 different cops either at the same time or different times in the parking lot because of all the cars afterhours with no open sign, uhhmmm. One of the girls gave a manager a little hand action on the couch in front of everybody while her fiancee was on the other couch nearby.

Im a diesel mechanic.. Ive seen many trucks, that shouldnt be any where close to a road...

Recently had a guy that had no bearings left (all chewed up and ground up in the hub) And he didnt know... Yet he had diff fluid alll up the back of his truck, and his one set of wheels was on an angle..

Diesels can be amazing or dangerous as hell in he wrong hand/improper care, as you know. I was driving down the interstate the other day and saw a run-away motor. Pulled over real quick and told the guy to choke the turbo. Personally i don't have much experience on diesels but my buddy who does says that's basically the only way to shut it down. The guy was so happy it saved his motor.

happens VERYY rarely, but 90% of the time getting to te acctual turbo inlet is a bitch without tools, and with 35ish liters of oil.. itll run for a whileee. sad part is his company probly had him drive the truck home rather then tow it.

So today some elderly guy who got some bad news at the office decided its a good idea to threaten an employee by saying he was gonna come back with a gun

Needless to say he is banned and wont be coming back

And people wonder why I hate cats.

Why is it the cats fault they had an irresponsible owner? I have two cats and aside from one of them shitting and vomiting occasionally they do are fine. Dogs would do the same shit if left alone except a dog would actually probably die before a cat would.

also yeah, stating the job you work would help lol

I work security and have no interesting stories since its an office building full of engineers. Prior jobs were JCPenney (shoe Dept) and Lowes (Special Order Grabber & Parking Lot attendant before going to Building Materials). JCPenney was nothing special, just can't believe the mess women make during holiday season esp with the clearance racks.

Lowes was pretty boring too. Just one funny story was apparently one of the guys in Building Materials before I moved over would setup a little resting "fort" in the insulation aisle. A customer needed help as our store manager was passing through and went to help him, sure enough needed help with insulation, the pulled one off the shelf and there was my coworker sleeping LMFAO, insta-fired

We've had 3 people from our work die in the last 3 months. They died not at work, but at home or away from. Like one was hit by a train and another ran head on into a tractor trailer. We had one guy commit suicide at the beginning of the year, and a guy who quit about a month ago just tried to commit suicide a couple days ago. He is in ICU. Another guy just ad a huge medical issue, just lost his job, and his home burnt down about a week ago. I think that qualifies as crazy

it didn't happen while at work but coming home from a riding trip with my friends we stopped at a burger king to eat something and while ordering food one of the employees said pretty much yelling "you think you had a bad night!?! i had to sleep in a ditch last night!" lol we laughed about that one for a while.

thought i was going to race dirtbikes for a living (so i guess it counts as work). Was 15 years old and 2 races away from qualifying for my expert plates in a desert racing club. Happened to be practicing on some local trails when I dropped into a ravine at around 40 mph where there was an abandoned vehicle that wasn't there before. Hit it, woke up in the engine compartment of the vehicle since it had no hood on it. the bikes frame where it welds to the base of the triple clamp (handle bar mount) was completely split in two and the front tire was bent into what looked like a "C". Lucky for me I only had a bruised sternum, dislocated shoulder, hyper extended left knee with 5 stitches in the knee cap and some sore ribs. I guess it shouldve been a lot worse so I consider it a blessing (coming to a complete stop into a huge chunk of metal as a projectile doesnt give you much time to think). Never owned another dirtbike since then, new paths opened up for me after that and figured i was to far behind in my racing after recovery given that one should almost be going pro at 16.
