Turns out the metal is way too thin to do anything more than tack welds. SO, that didn't happen, which means my x-brace isn't gonna happen. Looking into a USB steering wheel control now, I know there are a few on the market. Would have knocked out a coolant change too but local dealership didn't have the full strength stuff Oil change, trans. fluid, p/s fluid, front and rear diff fluid, flushed out brake fluid with dot 4, greased caliper slide pins, ditched the POS K&N filter and got a normal one, and did a cabin filter. Also got an oversize oil filter and started playing chemist with my oil. Slightly raised the molybdenum and ZDDP content - better wear protection. Decided to fill in two huge gaps in the mono-frame, gonna take 2 cans of foam per side. I don't know how I didn't find these areas before.
