FeelDaBass Posted December 25, 2012 Author Report Posted December 25, 2012 I probably will, was just making sure that this way wouldn't work first. Or maybe I'll just stick with the T1 and have it at 4 ohms sealed off facing the cabin. Jessica Posted December 25, 2012 Report Posted December 25, 2012 Won't work! Sure it will. For about 45 minutes. It could work for years, or minutes. Who knows. Like many ave said, separate enclosures and paying attention is key. home stereo cabinets have a woofer, mid and tweet and after crossovers each driver will likely be a different impedance but they are all wired together. But what the o.p. wants to do is a bit different and it probably wont sound very good. Rest in peace, walled 87 accord build log 03' Corolla build with AA Mayhem inside. wmrcs Posted December 25, 2012 Report Posted December 25, 2012 I'd sell both the subs and buy two different matching ones. E34 540iT/6
n8ball2013 Posted December 25, 2012 Report Posted December 25, 2012 No it doesn't work alright. Anyone that does this is a hack as far as im concerned. Make sure to run your power wire through the door jam and ground your amp to the seat belt bolt too. And don't use fuses. Fuses are for pussies. revoracing247 Posted December 25, 2012 Report Posted December 25, 2012 another thing that people haven't mentioned also is that they are gonna have different impedance rises and also the phase shifts are going to be different. doing that on the same amp can cause some smelly consequences. ~ If it was easy, everybody would be doing it ~
