I haven't clamped my 2ks but they put out a ton of power for sure. Honestly there is no need to hesitate, best amps I have ever used without question.

Loving my bc2k. There really efficient too. It was a crazy difference going from my aq1200 to that.

subwoofers - two eclipse 88120s

box - 3.4 cubes tuned to 32 hz

amps - aq1200 and pheonix gold zx450

New build :

2 obsidian audio 15s

same amp

6.1 cubic foot box tuned to 32 hz in a civic hatch

Then how do you know that they put out: 'a ton of power' ?

You wouldn't hear the difference between 4kw and 4.8kw(if they could actually produce that kind of power.).

Mecaman, why do you need clamp numbers?

Are you using them for SPL purposes? If not, it doesn't matter.

Thinking is the root of all problems...

You ALWAYS get what you pay for.

I just clamped my pair of 55 hundos. Im waiting for more batteries right now but I burped them on 3 kinetik hc2000's. It was just a test so dont give me shit for weak electrical.

Nominal load of .7 strapped and rising to 1.85

Voltage dropped to 9.8

Did 115v and 62amps

So dropping to 9.8v they still put out 7130w as a pair

Im sure they would do massive numbers on a 16v setup but dont have any personal experience with it

Dodge Ram Mega cab

4 18in Xcon's in a 4th order

158.2 at 39hz

156.0 at 27hz

My clamp results on the Crescendo BC2000D. 1,956 watts @ wired to .7 rising to 1.5 ohms. That was with voltage dropping to 13.2 volts. I no longer run the amp but that's my experience, it did almost 2k @ 1.5 ohms.
